‘Moo Deng’ originated from the fame of a pygmy hippo named Moo Deng, just two months old, from Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand. Moo Deng became a social media sensation after appearing in a series of videos and images with its cute appearance and rosy cheeks, which subsequently sparked a beauty trend on TikTok.

I previously reported this information on the YTuong Group using the tool Trending.ytuong.me

To date, it’s been more than two weeks, and the keyword “moo deng” is still going viral even in the coin (cryptocurrency) market.

Some people have made millions of dollars from this meme trend.

Anyway,

I will analyze the idea of selling “moo deng”.

Currently, it is still very hot. You should consider joining for the following reasons:

Moo deng is widely going viral
You will easily get orders because the number of people interested in this trend is quite large

Oh, let me check for violations to be sure!

In the YTuong telegram group, I’ve noticed that the number of deleted listings is not high.

Specifically, on the right side of the search bar, the number of listings removed by Etsy is very small.

This proves two things:

It is highly likely that these removed listings are from new shops with low credibility, leading to order issues causing shop closures => this is entirely normal.
The likelihood of violations is low => it’s a temporary trend of a new character who hasn’t registered any copyrights before.

I also quickly checked on checketsy.com, and the result was that there was no information on removed listings there either. This further proves that this niche (market) is still very safe.

Check the sales potential of Moo deng on Etsy

I will use the keyword phrase ‘Moo deng’ to search on Etsy, combined with the Heyetsy Tool to check

I can see that just the first page, as shown in my screenshot above, already has listings that sold within 24 hours as follows:

6 sold+
10 sold+
19 sold+
17 sold+

and the listing creation dates are within just a week, so it’s certain that I can scale the product across various niches.

For example, things I can scale to include:

Stickers (quick and easy shipping)
Ornaments (selling for Christmas)
T-shirts (embroidered) — increases competitiveness
….

I can combine with many different product lines to sell just within the “moo deng” niche.
