How Much I Can Make On Medium With 1,000+Views Per Day

I was introduced to Medium by a colleague in July 2023.
Since then, there have been some changes, especially in the analytics area, and the charts look even better.
I still remember back then I couldn’t make money from Medium.
It took me a while to understand how Medium works, and today I have a partial understanding of how this platform operates, at least it gives me some profit.
Although not too big, it motivates me to keep striving.
Medium tried to get rid of clickbait titles, but we could still see them all over the platform because it worked!

As a Medium writer, I believe the platform has made many good and bad decisions in the past years.
But I have to admit, Medium helps me reach customers, and earn a decent income from the Medium Partner Program.
I have some experience selling on Etsy, and a bit of interest in Pinterest, SEO, writing, blogging. That’s enough for me to start on Medium. How about you?
Surprisingly for me, these topics resonate with a lot of people.
It’s worth remembering that Medium is an unpredictable platform. What worked yesterday might no longer generate the same profitable results tomorrow.
I treat Medium as one of my traffic and income generation channels. That’s why I won’t fail even if the platform ceases to exist.
Focusing on types of stories and headlines that work helps me achieve decent results with less effort.
Nowadays, 10 stories are equal to roughly 1,000 views per day. Here is the proof:
My Medium stats for April 2024
Surprisingly, I don’t have to publish daily to maintain the same number of views.
You may notice in my personal profile that the posts are written sporadically, but before that they were very regular. This is what helps stimulate traffic to my personal profile every day in the initial stage.
For 1,000+ internal views, Medium pays roughly $25–30, which makes me around $700–900 per month.
It’s an improvement compared to $100 monthly earnings with the same number of published articles.
What might have caused this shift?

- Changes to the Medium Partner Program entry requirements.
- Writers who abandon the platform after barely making any money.
- Algorithm changes
When I joined Medium in July 2024,I didn’t earn any money, then around 5 months until March and April 2024, I started partnering with Medium for articles and here’s what I received.
I’ve made around 30 bucks from a post and now the traffic in my account keeps growing, reaching over 2000 views per week.
Focus on the content you share, and catchy titles.
I also noticed that joining publications doesn’t help at all, you can forget about that.
Concentrate on your writing style.
That’s a long and painful process.
It’s hard to justify your efforts when you make $0 working your ass off as a writer.
The money you don’t earn on Medium while being a newbie is given to someone else.
If you ask me if I can just give you the formula for you to achieve similar results?
